The Marin Community Foundation ( marincf.org ) will be investing a minimum of 35 million over five years to low income students and students of color. The Foundation’s goal with this investment is to help close the education gap in their area of Marin County.
“..[T]here are also many [students] who are falling behind, and for a variety of reasons, they are often students of color and ones from low-income families.” said MCF President Thomas Peters in announcing the initiative.
